Dr. Alex Kim is a highly trained optometrist with a strong background in medical eye care, ocular disease management, and surgical co-management. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from UCLA and his Doctor of Optometry degree from SUNY College of Optometry, building a foundation that blends clinical precision with patient-centered care.
Dr. Kim specializes in pre- and post-operative care for refractive and cataract surgery, including EVO ICL, RLE, and multifocal IOLs. He has extensive experience managing complex ocular conditions such as diabetes-related eye disease, macular degeneration, and glaucoma, and previously completed an Anterior Segment & Glaucoma Fellowship at LewisLASIK, where he trained in advanced surgical co-management and minor ocular procedures
