Thao Phuong Le, MD
Thao Phuong Le, MD is a board-certified, fellowship trained pediatric and comprehensive ophthalmologist. Her expertise includes both medical and surgical treatment of pediatric eye disease, adult strabismus, and adult cataracts.
Dr. Le grew up in the Pacific Northwest and is a three time University of Washington (UW) Husky! She graduated cum laude from the UW with a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology and then attended the UW School of Medicine, where she obtained her MD with a focus on underserved programs. Following medical school, Dr. Le completed a medicine internship at the Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, and then ophthalmology residency at the UW Eye Institute and Harborview Medical Center. She received advanced training from some of the world’s leaders in the field of pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus during fellowship at the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center.
In her free time, Dr. Le enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and trying new restaurants. She is bilingual, speaking English and Vietnamese.
