Thao Phuong Le, MD graduated cum laude from the University of Washington in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology. She then attended the UW School of Medicine from 2009-2013, where she obtained her MD with a focus on underserved programs. Following medical school, Dr. Le completed a medicine internship at the Virginia Mason Medical Center from 2013-2014, and then ophthalmology residency at the University of Washington from 2014-2017.
Fellowship trained in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center, her passion is working with children and families through the crucial time of visual development. She also looks forward to helping adults with double vision in addition to comprehensive eye concerns.
Growing up in Seattle, it has been her life-long dream to build her career in the Pacific Northwest and serve the local community. In her free time, Dr. Le enjoys playing tennis, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family. She speaks both English and Vietnamese fluently.
