Dr. Franklin is a Washington native. She attended Chapman University in Orange California for her undergraduates studies. She earned her Doctor of Optometry at Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. Dr. Franklin completed a post-doctorate residency program at the VA Medical Center in Boston, specializing in ocular disease, low vision, and traumatic brain injury visual rehabilitation. She provides comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens fittings, ocular disease co-management and low vision exams.

In her free time Dr. Franklin enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.
