Michelle Kim, MDDr. Kim grew up in southern California. She completed her undergraduate and medical training at the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA). She completed her residency in ophthalmology at Duke, then completed a fellowship in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery. She then served on cornea faculty at Duke as a clinical associate. Dr. Kim specializes in diseases of the cornea and anterior segment. She performs corneal transplantation, cataract surgery, corneal cross-linking, refractive surgery, secondary intraocular lens implantation/exchange, and numerous other procedures involving the anterior segment.
