Candy Chan, MD

Dr. Chan grew up in Ottawa, Canada. She received her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. She then attended graduate school at John Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health where she received a degree in Microbiology and Immunology. In 2005, she graduated from USC Medical School following which she completed her residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Rochester and fellowship in Vitreoretinal surgery and uveitis at UC San Diego.

Dr. Chan is fully trained in all aspects of retina care and services.

She enjoys swimming, skiing, rollerblading, cooking and reading. She speaks English, Spanish, and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
