My career in optics started in high school where I was coordinator of the blind center. The first twelve years of my career were spent fitting specialty contact lenses in the Bay Area of California.

In 1996 I moved back to Western Washington to work as a General Manager of an optical lab in Redmond, WA. In July of 2004, I came to work for Eye Associates Northwest with experience in all facets of customer service and eyewear manufacturing.
I graduated with honors and received my AAS degree in Opticianry at SCCC in 1997. I am also ABO (American Board of Opticianry) and NCLE (National Contact Lens Examiners) certified. After graduation I worked at Group Health Co-op. In November of 2003 I was hired by Eye Associates Northwest, PC where I work as the sole Optician for eyewear in a two doctor office at Northgate office.
What is the most satisfying to me is to work on a one to one basis with my patients allowing me to go from start to finish. All aspects of my job interest me, from picking out frames to adjusting glasses. I very much like my job here at Eye Associates Northwest and I am grateful to work with such a great group of people!
